Domain name is unlocked and not on hold.
Prepare the domain for transfer.
Disable WHOIS privacy protection if the service does not forward emails. If this is enabled we may not be able to verify ownership of the domain.
Make sure you are able to access the email address listed as the domain's administrative contact.
Remove any sort of hold, lock, or other security measures you have enabled for the domain.
Get the auth code from your current registrar. Your registrar may have another name for this code.
Submit the domain for transfer.
Enter the domain and auth code for your domain on this page.
If the domain is available for transfer we will redirect you to account login / creation page.
Once logged in we will redirect you to the payment page.
After payment and submission.
Check your email. Your current registrar or us may send you an email. It's important to confirm and accept the transfer.
The complete process can take less than a day and not generally more than eight days.
Once the transfer is complete the domain will be inserted into your account.
Nameservers will remain the same as they were with your old registrar.
Contact info will generally remain the same as at your old registrar. If we are unable to properly query your current registrar's WHOIS server we may set the contacts to the defaults in your account.
All transfers of gTLD domain names include a one year renewal of the domain unless the domain is inside the auto renew grace period.
The following country code TLDs do not offer a free renewal as part of a transfer: ai, off.ai, com.ai, net.ai, org.ai, uk, co.uk, org.uk, me.uk, de, la, cx.
